Located in East Maitland, Starz on Stage Talent Academy is a highly professional, affordable and boutique dance & acrobatic studio.
We offer recreational and local competition dancing.
With over 20 years of experience, we specialise in all styles of dance, including; Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop, Broadway, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics & Tap.
Our carefully selected teaching staff are fun, nurturing, and committed to helping students achieve their dance & acrobatic dreams! Our commitment is creating a warm & fun environment for all dancers, whilst enriching students’ confidence & coordination and enhancing their creativity!

Uniforms
All Students are required to wear full Starz on Stage uniforms to every class.
This includes dance hair up and out of the dancers face in a bun with slick back fly-aways.
Uniforms can be purchased HERE
Shoes
We recommend Flight Dance Supplies
for all dance shoes.
You are also welcome to check our Parents and Students Facebook page for any second hand items.
Hair
For classes, your child's hair needs to be in a tight, slick back bun secured with hairspray and mousse. If this doesn't secure the hair enough, you may also need to use a hairnet and pins.
Why?
- Safety is our main concern at Starz on Stage; as your child progresses into doing more amazing dance moves, we don’t want their hair blocking their vision or interfering with acrobatics movement.
- The elegant and sophisticated look not only helps with your child's mindset for dance, but it also doesn’t interfere with movement. Therefore, it allows the teaching staff to see the line of the neck and posture while dancing.
