Junior
Our 8 years to 11-year-old dancers come from last year's pre-junior class and external students joining Starz on Stage for the first time. Regardless of how the students join this class, you can guarantee they are fast friends and ready to dance in all classes!
This is the age at which most students have established dance as part of their identity, whether it is through loving to dance at home or being a dance student; children have decided that it’s part of their world.
Our choreography is designed to build spatial awareness, balance, strength and discipline in a fun and exciting environment.
Children thrive under the structure and routine that dancing provides. Classes for Juniors are expertly constructed & designed specifically for this very special stage in life, providing many fun, exciting experiences.
With classes that deliver non-stop action whilst your child grows in confidence & focus.

Concerts
You will be BEAMING with pride at your dancer on stage twice a year!
Concerts play an integral role in your child’s life.
Concerts instil confidence in performing in front of an audience and give your child a strong sense of accomplishment.
Determining to work toward and conquer a goal will teach your child resilience and give them a sense of pride.
Showing up for their peers to take their position on stage demonstrates the importance of responsibility and accountability in teamwork.
Also, when things don’t go as planned, your child will learn how creativity, perseverance, and problem-solving can make almost any situation better!
Showcase Concert (JUNE)
Held in the middle of the year, our showcase concert is exactly as the name suggests: a showcase of all the skills your child has been learning in dancing. We have a rehearsal to help your child and their peers practice and reduce any stage fright they may be experiencing. Children wear their Starz on Stage uniform for this concert.
End of Year Concert Spectacular (MID-NOVEMBER)
The End of Year Concert is another opportunity for your child to show off their talents.
We typically have two rehearsals before this concert to allow your child to practice routines and spacing and enjoy the experience of teamwork and dancing on stage. There is a small fee for costumes.
